At Faclon Labs, You will

1. You'll be part of a team of engineers focused on building out critical components of our Engineering team.
2. Partner with the product and UX/UX teams and other cross functional partners to develop overall vision, strategy and roadmap for our engineering systems and product suites.
3. Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement.
4. Establish a solid project framework and excellent development processes.
5. Be open with ideas around technical and architectural direction for the development, design, integration, testing, and maintenance of our products.
6. Follow agile software processes for the engineering team and introduce best-in-class industry practices.
7. Handle technical debt to ensure our development velocity stays responsive and predictable while minimizing production incidents of our operations.

Should Apply If You Have

1. 1 - 2 years of work experience architecting, developing, and shipping well tested software products and/or services.

7. Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field/equivalent practical experience, experience in MEAN stack is a big plus.
8. Interest in building things from scratch and being a decision maker here.
9. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
10. Attention to detail and keen eye to build the perfect product.

Technical Skills

1. Web development concepts - basics of REST APIs, server architecture.
2. Prior experience with Javascript (Node.js), MongoDB.
3. Prior experience with in-memory databases like Redis is a plus.
4. Design and build efficient, horizontally scalable systems.
5. Experience with microservices and relevant design patterns.
6. Experience with containerization technology like Docker is a plus.
7. Experience with queueing systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka is a plus.
